More manpower and the best programmers on Madden because it sells more copies.
No way it will be exclusive, way to many 360 owners for that to ever happen.
will be from people buying the 360 version instead of the ps3 version, or buying a 360 because it will have more GTA4 content. Also I read an interview from I think Major Nelson saying it wasn't even 50mil, or at least they don't comment on deals with their partners. Could still be 50 mil though
mainly because it is fun, and you dont have to be a master gamer to be good at it. My 4 year old nephew is really good at tennis and bowling and has a blast, not as good as me but he can beat both of his parents and most other adults. I like it personally because I know there are gonna be some killer shooter games, and I like to play games differently every once in awhile. Virtual console brings back memories as well, without having to go to a pawn shop or ebay and hope for the right price....
Mainly because of your Banjo Kazooie needing to be shown comment. They were strictly focused on '07 games (minus RE5, and they wanted to show that because it is: 1) multi platform same day release 2) very highly anticipated by many hardcore gamers 3) beautiful and they knew Sony would show it and wanted to let gamers know the trailer was run on 360.) If they are gonna show Bano Kazooie why not show Alen Wake, Too Human, Halo Wars, etc etc.
I sure hope so, and I hope its not the Genesis port. Give me an updated one or the original arcade version please.
If you want the full Rockband experience...$200+
Also who is not going to want to do solos on the guitar? Which means buying a new guitar.
Although you can just buy Rock Band and use your Live mic for the singing, how the hell are you gonna have 500,000 singers and no drummers or guitarists doing solos.
Buying Rock Band without all of the extras is possible, and playable. But it's kinda like buying a Core System. Not really a smart move cuz its ...
Achievments let you see what types of games people play, and how dedicated they are/were to said game. You can find good playing buddies this way. Also as far as I know there is no way to gain achievements by loading a saved game. You earn achievements while you are signed in and playing to get said achievement. There may be a way (I have heard of people milking their gamerscore) but I dont know how, nor do most of the population.
Mic's cost $20.00 by themselves, $10 more is not bad at all. I just wish it was commin before September 4 cuz my mic earpeice is screwed up cuz of all my drunk buddies tuggin and tossin it around. Was about to go get another one but I think I'll wait on the pad.
Only if you want a wireless guitar. If you had to buy a new one everyone would boycott it, or at least I would.
Now for Rock Band you will have to buy a new guitar.
so you don't have to d/l at over $2 a pop. If it has as many songs as GH2 then each song will be under $1, which is a better deal than from itunes lol, and you can't play (gaming wise) your songs from itunes.
It looks better all around, and the songs are great (the ones I have seen anyway.) It will play exactly the same with new features. Don't care who makes it, but I can tell from the info I have read, including ign's hands on article that this game will f'm rock. I am excited about rock band as well but not excited about having to pay $200+ to play the damn thing.
1) Games
2) Xbox Live
3) Gaming competition (ie:hardcore gamers)
4) Marketplace
5) Mediaplayer - specifically the visualization program for the music player, that thing blows any winamp plugin I have seen out of the water, and I love my eye candy.
When Live goes down, they let us know well in advance. Don't remember it ever going down without prewarning.
"I also think that newer features on the Elite, like the 80GB hard drive, will encourage more family activities, like downloading TV shows and movies."
80GB? I think I will take opinions from people that know about the characteristics of the hardware they are speaking of. Next story please.
If its anything like Zelda or GoW count me in.
How about:
To game in the future - PS3
To game right now - X360
To game a new way - Wii
So you would rather buy the potential of great games, then pay less and get great games right now? Oh and in a year the PS3 will be outdated compared to PC's. I will buy a PS3, maybe by the end of the year if the games comming out live up to the hype. But to pay even $499 for a system with few games, no real AAA games other than maybe REsistance doesn't make much sense to me.
What did you just say?
